The Clinical Training Program is focused on assisting clinicians
to integrate the collection, recording and reporting of consumer
outcome measures and casemix data in Western Australia through:
Integrating the National Outcome & Casemix Collection
Data into Everyday Clinical Practice
This project has the objective of integrating the collection,
recording, reporting and utilisation of the NOCC data into everyday
clinical practice. It will examine the processes health services
have put in place to support the collection of outcome measurement
data and the rigour and effectiveness of such processes.
National Outcomes & Casemix Collection Quality Improvement
Project
The Division of Mental Health in collaboration with local mental
health services across the state will be undertaking the quality
improvement project, which aims to improve the quality of the
data that is collected.
Provision of Training in Analysing and Reporting the NOCC Data
Managers and a number of senior clinicians will be provided with
training to enhance their skills and knowledge on how to interpret
the NOCC data, produce reports and apply the data to address service
planning issues and decision making.
